United States Congressman, Pennsylvania’s 2nd District
Congressman Brendan F. Boyle was born and raised in Philadelphia. The son of an immigrant, the Congressman is the first in his family to attend college, graduating from the University of Notre Dame and later earning a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2008, becoming the first Democrat to ever represent his legislative district. In 2014, he scored a major upset win when he was elected to Congress. Now in his fifth term, Congressman Boyle is the Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee and holds a leadership position in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
