WASHINGTON, D.C. – McCain Institute Executive Director Evelyn Farkas has been in the news this week discussing Vladimir Putin’s latest moves in Ukraine and President Biden’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly. Farkas was interviewed on CNN, MSNBC, NBC News NOW and BBC World. She was also quoted in the New York Times following a panel discussion with journalist Julian Barnes at the Intelligence and National Security Alliance where she discussed the urgent need to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forced with the necessary weapons to defeat Putin before the Russian Army regroups.
McCain Institute staff members Scott Nemeth and Caitlin Battey also wrote an op-ed for Stars and Stripes on their experience traveling to the Ukraine border as part of the McCain Global Leaders Program.
