Frontlines of Freedom: NATO, Arizona, and the Fight for Democracy

Conversation reinforced the importance of NATO, transatlantic security, and democratic values in the legacy of Senator John S. McCain


 

While the NATO alliance grows stronger with the recent additions of Finland and Sweden, the public perception of NATO has never been weaker among Americans. As Washington, D.C., prepares to host the upcoming NATO Summit in July commemorating the Alliance’s 75th anniversary, the McCain Institute’s event will be a part of the official civil society engagement for the summit. This event focused on why NATO matters to Arizona now and in the future.
