Yurii Stechyshyn is a Representative (Deputy) at Lviv District Council, an Ambassador from Ukraine to the European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN), a Digital Consultant with focus of FinTech area and a fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) Policy Designers Network program (PDN). Yurii holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and is currently working on his PhD research in Management.As a Deputy, Yurii represents his constituents in Lviv District Council, where he is also a member of the Committee of land resources and agricultural affairs. He also takes active role in leading EDYN Ukraine Chapter activities, which includes strategizing, recruitment and policies development as well as representation of a chapter both on the international arena and within Ukraine. As a consultant Yurii is responsible for providing an excellent service, advice and support to his clients. This includes constantly enriching his skills, relevant knowledge and the way of thinking.Stechyshyn, a conservative, is passionate about politics and the Euro-Atlantic cooperation. For that, Yurii applied and was selected to participate in the PDN program of the GMF. Yurii’s vision is: Ukraine, a true part of the West, a country, where democracy is deeply rooted, and free and open-market economy - well developed. Ukraine - a reliable parter, ally and member of the EU and NATO. A country with fair justice system, meritocratic leadership and zero tolerance to corruption.
