Raquel Grünauer Espinoza has a Master's in International Sciences and Diplomacy from the Instituto de Diplomacia Antonio Parra Velasco, a Master's in PMP from the Universidad de la Rioja, and degree in International Business Management from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. At the completion of her university studies, she was awarded a scholarship by the National Polytechnic of Jakarta where she studied Indonesian Language and Culture. She was an intern at the Organization of American States (OAS) in the Competitiveness, Innovation and Technology section of the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI). She currently works as Head of Office and advisor at the Andean Parliament, Ecuador office. She worked in the National Assembly of Ecuador, as an advisor to the National Assemblywoman for the Social Christian Party, Cristina Reyes Hidalgo. In addition to her work in the legislative body, Raquel works as program coordinator for Fundación Destino Libertad, where she is dedicated to organizing and managing activities for vulnerable groups such as women and in training and leadership development for youth and women. She is currently the Executive Director for the Youngster Branch of the PSC in Ecuador, and was a part of the 2020 Cohort of the program for Latin-American Leaders of Pablo VI Foundation in Spain.
