With UNHCR and others, Marzina Khan has worked with programs aimed at compensating for the social, economic and environmental consequences for Pakistani communities caused by the presence of more than 3 million Afghan refugees working with her U.S. colleagues, she has joined new expertise in empowering women as actual actors in the development of Pakistan.
