Marija Dautartaitė previously served as an advisor to the president of the Republic of Lithuania on social and cultural affairs. In this position, she coordinated the national social campaign, “For a Safe Lithuania.” Dautartaitė is working to interrupt the cycle of poverty and social neglect that is passed down from one generation to the next through early intervention. She seeks to implement early intervention plans in the education system and prenatal support to break the cycle of poverty.
