First Lieutenant Jeta Berisha is the Head of the Recruitment Sector in the Kosovo Security Force (KSF). With 9 years of experience in the army, she has held various leadership positions, including Platoon Leader and Company Commander, leading over 120 military members, developing and executing mission plans, managing logistics, and overseeing personnel and mission success. Besides the KSF training courses, First Lieutenant Berisha has completed multiple security training programs in various NATO member states, such as the Officer Leader Course in the United States, the Gender Awareness in Peace Support Operations Course, the Civil-Military Interaction / CIMIC Course in Turkey, Public Affairs Course in North Macedonia, among others. She has been awarded the Colonel Alan C. Dexter Award in recognition of her demonstrated military professionalism, leadership, and academic excellence during her Officer Leader Course from the United States Army. She is a former recipient of the Chevening Scholarship sponsored by the UK Government, holding an MA in International Relations and Security (with Distinction) from the University of Westminster in London. First Lieutenant Berisha completed the Military Academy simultaneously with a BSc degree in Public Policy & Governance and Peace & Conflict Studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Kosovo.
