Dr. James Gough is a former military and aid doctor. He served with the British Army and the ICRC in Afghanistan, Egypt, and Bangladesh. Beyond the field of medicine, he served with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office as a diplomat, and he co-founded a UK charity promoting and protecting the wellness of those who serve the Crown to protect the nation. He is currently COO of a multi-national technology scale-up and the Founder and CEO of OneShot Immersive, a social venture providing life-saving educational technology for humanitarian crises, conflict, and disaster. James is a social entrepreneur. He uses his humanitarian, medical, business, and technological experience to bring change for good. He has a particular focus on digital technologies that can help to solve some of the greatest challenges of our time.
