The U.S. Department of State’s Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, in partnership with the Foley Foundation, the McCain Institute, Hostage U.S., New America, and The Hostages and Missing Families Forum, hosted a U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Day event held on March 6 at the Department of State.
Programming included a panel discussion followed by a flag-raising ceremony.
