Program Coordinator, Leadership Programs
Alisha Tesfalem serves as the program coordinator for the Leadership Programs at the McCain Institute. Prior to this role, she worked at the African Diaspora College Access Program as the alumni relations & persistence advisor specialist, supporting first and second-generation African high-school students in their pursuit of higher education. Alisha has dedicated over 10 years to higher education.
She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and sociology in 2013, followed by a master's in education administration in 2017, also from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Alisha has served students at various universities, including the University of California Washington Program.
