Development Coordinator
Makayla Purdy serves as the development coordinator at the McCain Institute. In this role, she supports the senior director of development to help further the McCain Institute’s impact and fundraising initiatives across all the McCain Institute’s programs.
Prior to joining the McCain Institute, Makayla most recently served as the Revenue Strategy & Services Coordinator at Make-A-Wish America, HQ. In her tenure at Make-A-Wish America, she served in multiple capacities and aligned to the donor care, stewardship, and revenue partnerships & services teams.
Makayla graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in 2023 with a B.S. in political science and certificates in homeland security, civic education, and political history & leadership. Although currently residing in Virginia, Makayla has spent most of her time living in Arizona and various regions of Japan.
