Sarah is an attorney in the National Security Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served most recently as Counsel
to the Assistant Attorney General for National Security. Prior to joining the Justice Department, she clerked on the United States
District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Sarah previouslyserved as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps and has completed internships with several other federal agencies.
She graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in International Relations, earned an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was Editor in Chief of the Harvard National Security Journal. In her free time, she is an avid trail runner and soccer fan.
