Louise Maguire

Louise is an active-duty Intelligence Analyst in the Australian Defence Force who has served in both combat and analytical
functions. She has previously worked as a Senior Analyst for the Pacific and Southeast Asia, generating Target Systems Analysis,
network development and open-source investigations. While deployed overseas she worked to identify Al Qaeda-affiliated
networks with connections to Southeast Asian terrorist organisations. She worked collaboratively with multinational
counter terrorism teams to initiate legal and counter financing outcomes. Louise holds a B.A. from the University of New South Wales with a double major in Criminology and International Relations. She also holds a Master of Security and Counter Terrorism from
Charles Sturt University. She is currently a post-graduate student at the Australian National University - Crawford School of National Security Policy. Louise is also an intermediate-level defence linguist in Indonesian.
