Rohana is a national security professional with experience in analytic and policy roles. Rohana has held roles with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, including in the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh, the Department of Defence and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Rohana was the 2018 Thawley Scholar at the Lowy Institute and Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. She holds a Master of Strategic Studies and a Bachelor of Philosophy with Honours (Asia-Pacific) (PhB) degree from the Australian National University, and has studied at Peking University and the University of Toronto.
