National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha
Austin Doctor is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center, the Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence for terrorism prevention and counterterrorism studies based at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he is also a member of the university faculty.
His research informs U.S. national and homeland security policy and practice with a focus on the study of emerging threats, domestic and international terrorism, and counterterrorism. Austin holds a B.A. from Covenant College and a Ph.D. from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia.
