Aoibheann Thinnes has over 10 years of experience shaping policy decisions in the national security space. Currently, Aoibheann serves as a policy analyst at the U.S. Department of Defense, where she has worked on a range of national security priorities including Indo-Pacific security affairs, special operations and irregular warfare, conflict prevention and stabilization (particularly in Africa), and supply chain security. Prior to these roles, Aoibheann led multi-functional strategy and analytic teams at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on homeland security.
Aoibheann received her MPP, with a specialization in International and Global Affairs, from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in International Relations and Business from the University of Notre Dame.
