Victoria Maldonado

National Security & Counterterrorism

Prior to joining the McCain Institute as a Junior Fellow, Victoria worked at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, and the U.S. Mission to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University, concentrating on counterterrorism with a focus on the malicious use of emerging technologies.

Victoria earned a dual bachelor’s degree in International Comparative Politics and Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from The American University of Paris. During her time there, she developed a strong foundation in global affairs and engaged deeply with the university’s academic community, contributing to various research projects and initiatives.

In her free time, Victoria loves learning new languages, traveling, and spending time with her Goldendoodle.
