Jeffrey Horton is an intelligence analyst in the FBI’s Cyber Division, where he works on a team that produces strategic intelligence products on cybercrime attributable to non-state actors. Since joining the Bureau in 2015 until 2021, Jeffrey was part of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, where he served in two roles: as a program manager for U.S.-based counterterrorism investigations and as a strategic analyst for homeland threats. Before joining the Bureau in 2015, Jeffrey worked as a licensing specialist in the United States Marine Corps Trademark Licensing Office, where he provided customer service to licensees and researched trademark infringement as part of the office’s enforcement activities. Prior to joining the federal government in 2014, he interned as a graduate student researcher with the United States Naval History & Heritage Command and the United States Marine Corps History Division, providing research and writing assistance to senior historians. Jeffrey holds a doctorate in Austrian history and a master’s degree in history from the Pennsylvania State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree with honors in history from Quinnipiac University.
