Elizabeth Flinter has been a member of the U.K. Diplomatic Service since 2010. She has anchored her career in international security work, with a particular focus on fragile and conflict-affected states. Elizabeth is currently deputy head of the Migration Department within the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Prior to this role, she worked on Somalia, the Sahel and Ukraine from the FCDO in London and was posted to the British Embassies in Afghanistan and Morocco. Elizabeth has a B.A. (Hons) in social and political sciences and an MPhil in international relations, both from the University of Cambridge.
