Charlie Eastaugh currently serves for H.M. Government in the U.K. Home Office, where he has worked since 2016. He has experience engaging strategically across the national security domain domestically and overseas, including with the U.S. and Australian governments. Charlie works extensively with law enforcement partners and manages teams who generate options and balanced advice for ministers on complex issues, allowing them to make informed, evidence-based decisions. Previously, Charlie taught law at the bachelor’s & master’s levels. He holds a first-class honors degree in English law and a Ph.D. in U.S. constitutional law. In his spare time, Charlie is a keen runner (track and road) and competed at the 2021 British Championships and Olympic trials in the 1,500 meters.
