Analyst, National Counterterrorism Center
Anna Dietrich currently serves as an analyst at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), where she has worked since 2014 as a subject matter expert producing finished intelligence on the threat and trajectory of high-profile terrorist groups for policy, military and law enforcement audiences. Anna served for two years as a briefer on the President’s Daily Brief (PDB) staff—first as the PDB briefer to the directors of NCTC and the U.S. Secret Service and later as a backup PDB briefer for two dozen other senior policy, military and intelligence officials. Prior to joining NCTC, she worked for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and for the House Committee on Homeland Security. Anna received a B.A. in political science and public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
